We only use therapeutic grade essential oils (EOs). Essential oils and massage have been found to have a very profound effect on shelter, rescue and adopted dogs and help the dog bond with the owner.

 It is not recommended to use essential oils on pregnant dogs, medium to large breed puppies younger than eight weeks. For small or toy breed puppies wait at least until they are older than ten weeks.

Bergamot (Monarda Didyma) Calming, Soothing; good for depression, irritability, snapiness; anti bacterial, antivral, parasiticide; can be used to treat skin ailments such as psoriasis and eczema.  non-toxic; non-irritant;  Avoid use during pregnancy. spicy-sweet characteristic scent blends well with geranium and orange 
Cedarwood (Cedrus Atlantica) Calming; Antiseptic, tonifying, circulation-stimulating. Good for skin and coat conditioning and dermatitis of all types. Grounds & centers.  Helps with tough situations like moving or major changes;  non-toxic and non-irritant woody, sweet and balsamic-like scent blends well with bergamot, lavender and orange.
Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Globulus) Antiviral, anti-inflammatory, an expectorant. Good for relief of chest congestion. Supports normal blood sugar/pancreas, immune support. Repels mosquitos.  Lifts melancholy. Do not apply to sensitive skin.  Avoid during pregnancy. This oil should also NOT be taken orally as it can be toxic.  a very herbaceous scent with soft woody undertones blends well with bergamot, cedarwood,  ginger, lavender, lemongrass, marjoram,  niaouli, patchouli and peppermint.
Egyptian Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)  Gentle and safe, antifungal. Good for skin irritations, fungal ear infections. Effective in repelling ticks, lice, mosquitoes and fleas; analgesic, anibacterial, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory. It is cooling and relaxing.  Geraniol is extracted is by a steam distillation process from many types of plants including Geraniums. Geraniol is considered a minimal risk pesticide ingredient by EPA standards. (Does not require registration by the USA EPA and has been exempted from registration under FIFRA). non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing. Avoid during pregnancy. a green, rosy-sweet, minty scent blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, lavender, lemongrass, marjoram and orange.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Reduces discomforts, helps reduce car ride discomforts.  Good for motion sickness, aids digestion. Effective for pain relief caused by arthritis, dysplasia, strains and sprains.  Appreciated by older dogs with arthritis. Restores energy. Non-toxic, non-irritant;  Avoid use during pregnancy. a warm, spicy, woody scent with a hint of lemon and pepper. Blends well with Bergamot, cedarwood, eucalyptus, geranium, orange and patchouli.
Bulgarian Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)  Helps reduce anxiety, stress, fear, sadness; supports healthy tissue regeneration (cuts/scrapes/skin irritations); Very safe and gentle, antibacterial, anti-itch, nerve-calming. Useful in conditioning patients to a safe space. May help allergies, burns, ulcers, insomnia, car ride anxiety and car sickness, to name a few. Repels moths, fleas, flies and mosquitos  It also soothes the irritation of flea bites. Because of its sedative properties, it’s good for dogs who are overly excitable or nervous.  Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-senistizing.  Avoid use during pregnancy. Lavender oil blends well with most oils.
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) Supports healthy immune system; helps body eliminate intestinal parasites; good for fevers, infections, cramps, arthritis, muscular pain, repels fleas & mosquitoes; good for nervous exhaustion, anxiety, depression, confusion. It is also good for arthritis and digestive problems. non-toxic a fresh earthy, citrus scent blends well with cedarwood, geranium, lavender and niaouli.
Marjoram, Sweet (Origanum majorana) Strong antibacterial, calming, a muscle relaxant. Good for bacterial skin infections, wound care, insect repelling.  non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Avoid use during pregnancy. a warm and spicy aroma, with a hint of nutmeg blends well with lavender, cedarwood, bergamot, eucalyptus and niaouli.
Niaouli (Melaleuca Quinquenervia) Antihistaminic, powerful antibacterial properties.  Good for skin irritation and infections caused by allergies. non-toxic, non sensitizing, and non-irritating substances. Avoid use during pregnancy. a sweet, fresh, camphoraceous smell blends well with lavender and peppermint.
Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) antidepressant, antiseptic, astringent, deodorant, diuretic, fungicide, sedative; insecticidal and insect repellant; good for depression, sadness, uplifts mood and relaxes tension.  Soothes inflamation, arthritis. Peace & Calming.  None known. a warm, earthy aroma with fresh fruit - like tone blends well with bergamot, geranium and lavender.
Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) helps reduce bloating/gas/indigestion; helps to cool body; helps eliminate intestinal parasites; stimulates circulation; good for arthritis, dysplasia, sprains and strains. Works well with ginger to treat motion sickness.; clarifies boundaries, reduces agression; repels spiders, mosquitoes and ants. Avoid using in puppies and pregnant dogs blends well with eucalyptus, ginger, lavender, marjoram and lemongrass.
Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) Calming, deodorizing, flea-repelling. Good for obesity, mouth ulcers, constipation, anxious, depression, nervousness non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Do not use if pregnant. a sweet, citrus smell much like an orange peel blends well with ginger.

Our formulas have been developed through extensive research so are proprietary for our signature blends and bases however, the following is a list of our current ingredients and their properties.  We use organic when it is available and source in the USA when possible. We are always looking for suppliers or other green resources. Our ingredients are subject to change as we are always researching, adapting, creating, developing and improving to bring you the best grooming products for your dog.

aloe vera juice reduces inflamatioin, heals skin
avocado oil superior regenerative and moisturising properties; rich in vitamins A, B, D and E as well as lecithin, potassium, protein, beta carotene and amino acids.
beeswax, yellow The use of beeswax may be as old as history itself. Research even suggests that cosmetic and medicinal uses of beeswax may be superior to petroleum-based products. Beeswax is a natural wax derived from honeybees.beeswax locks in moisture, fosters cells and protects skin. With its amazing ability to work with in concert with multiple ingredients, beeswax can be utilized to benefit and beautify the entire body. With anti-bacterial properties and vitamin A, it aids in natural healing and cell development without clogging pores. With its water repelling properties, beeswax sustains sunscreen action.
Castor oil Is easily absorbed by the skin making it a great skin softener and conditioner; acts as a humectant by drawing moisture from the air.
Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea) Euphoric, deeply relaxing for muscles and mind.  Uplifting.  Inspiring.  Regulate hormones.  Relieves seasonal discomfort & heat.  Asthma, circulatory, strained muscles, anxiety, depression, fear; antifungal, detoxifying, decongestant, antiseptic. 
clay- rose kaolin This is a mild kaolin clay that is excellent for normal to dry skin to gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin. 
clay - Moroccan red an extremely gentle clay that is known to exhibit amazing drawing powers. This clay draws oils from the skin which makes it a fantastic astringent for oily hair and skin. Furthermore, it stimulates skin circulation and because of its gentleness, it is suitable for even the most sensitive skin. This clay is recommended for acne, poison oak or ivy and skin rashes.
clay- Rhassoul is very useful on oily, sensitive and tired skin. This product contains very high levels of magnesium, potassium and calcium. Rhassoul clay is used in many spa and bath soaks primarily because of the clays detoxifiying properties. This is because of the naturally high levels of minerals found in the clay.
clay - french green considered by many as a healing clay widely used for its skin healing properties. When applied to the skin, it essentially absorbs toxins and poisons that get trapped in the skin.
coconut oil this oil is wonderfully moisturising and adds a barrier to the skin protecting it from the elements.
It's cleansing ability is amazing and is one of the few oils that produces a soap that will lather in salt water.
colloidal oatmeal can be used topically as a protectant, soothing moisturizer, cleanser and itch-reliever. It’s also amazing for health, particularly skin health, because of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory abilities.
glycerin an ingredient that can be found in many beauty products because of its moisture locking properties. It is a form of sugar alcohol that is available naturally in vegetable oils. Glycerin is a humectant, or hygroscopic in nature. Humectants attract moisture from the epidermis and the environment to the surface layers of the skin. Apart from moisturizing, it also has cleansing, lubricating and soothing properties.
neem oil It is anti-bacterial, anti-septic & anti-viral properties and said to be beneficial to acne, eczema, psoriasis, chicken pox, burns and wrinkles. Is an anti-parasitic which makes it a powerful natural insect repellent. 
olive oil absorbs into the skin to form a protective barrier against the elements. It also acts as a humectant, drawing moisture to the skin and is said to help aid skin cell regeneration.
shea butter Rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, this oil forms a breathable barrier on your skin that helps to protect it from harsh elements like the sun and wind.
It is often used in products for soothing skin irritations, sun protection, healing minor cuts and burns and of course skin moisturising.
sugar used topically on the skin as an exfoliating scrub and to increase lather
vitamin E oil sometimes called the “skin vitamin,” has excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties, which make it a great natural remedy for various skin and hair concerns.
