Zeus and Blu all natural dog grooming common questions

What ingredients are used in the formulas?

We have created proprietary formulas for all our products using only high quality, food grade ingredients and therapeutic grade essential oils.
See our garden ingredients page to learn more about the ingredients we use.

How long does the shampoo paw scent last?

Depends on how much your dog is outside.  Zeus and Blu run in the woods daily so the scent wears in about 1 - 2 weeks.  The scent will typically last 2 - 3 weeks on dogs that are mostly indoors.  Use fur foam to freshen scent between baths.

How many baths do you get from one paw?

Medium dogs (25- 50 pounds) will use almost the whole bar
Large dogs (50- 100 pounds) will use 1 bar
Very large dogs (100+ pounds) or large dogs with a lot of fur could need 1 1/2 to 2 bars

Does Stop Bugging Me really work?

  • When the shampoo paw and fur foam are used together and as directed they are very effective in safely repelling pests.
  • One of our main ingredients is neem oil. Neem oil has been approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a pest repellent on crops but has not been tested by the Food and Drug  Administration on it's ability to repel insects from pets.
  • Geraniol is the active ingredient used in big brand all natural insect repellent sprays for humans.  This is also the main active ingredient in our pest repelling formulas.
  • Cruelty free. Not tested on animals. We have tested on humans and our pets because we prefer using nature and reducing our exposure to chemicals. Our products have not been tested by the Food and Drug Administration for effectiveness in repelling insects, calming dogs or clearing up dry skin.

  • The FDA has approved many flea and tick products that are believed to be harming our pets.  Just a few articles:
